The Pineal Gland: The Third Eye
The pineal gland (also called the “third eye”) is a small endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain. It produces the serotonin derivative melatonin, a hormone that affects the modulation of wake/sleep patterns and seasonal functions. Its shape resembles a tiny pine cone (hence its name), and it is located near the center of the brain.
The pineal gland is activated by Light, and it controls the various bio-rhythms of the body. It works in harmony with the hypothalamus gland which directs the body’s thirst, hunger, sexual desire and the biological clock that determines our aging process. The pineal gland is our connection between physical and spiritual worlds.
Meditation, Prayer, Visualization Yoga, have been known to “open” the Third Eye and allow you to ‘see’ beyond the physical. As you practice, you will get it faster and more frequently. To activate the ‘third eye and perceive higher dimensions, the pineal gland and the pituitary body, must vibrate in unison, which is achieved through meditation and relaxation. When a correct relationship is established a magnetic field is created.
The All-Seeing Eye- The Pineal Gland is Activated by Light (Wisdom/Knowledge)
The symbol of the All-Seeing-Eye, has always been a part of earth’s mythologies and mysteries. In Ancient Egypt, it was symbolized by the Eye of Heru (Greek: Horus). Heru is the son of Asar and Aset (Greek: Osiris and Isis), the divine child of the holy family trinity.
Mythologically, Heru was imagined as a celestial falcon, whose right eye was the sun (light) and left eye the moon (darkness). Heru is one of many gods associated with the falcon and his name means “he who is above” and “he who is distant”. The symbol was passed down through teachings and can now be found on the American dollar bill.
We often must wrestle against societies devices that keep us ignorant of medical truth. How do we do this? By seeking wisdom and knowledge. Activate your pineal gland by letting a little light shine in…
